Coronavirus…and Me!
A creative exploration to facilitate our process and personal experience of living within a global pandemic…
Once upon a time there was Coronavirus….and Me! A story we are all living which is both personal and unique to us all, as well as a story impacting everyone the world over. As lockdown measures and social distancing guidelines change, our story continues with Coronavirus still alive and present.
As we transition through change, how do we begin to process what living with Coronavirus means for us? How do we identify what we need to move forward in the chapters of our story feeling empowered?
In this experiential workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore their personal story of Coronavirus through various creative image approaches. This dynamic session will be hosted via Zoom and will make use of individual image work, group work, the Zoom whiteboard and breakout rooms.
Please bring a selection of art materials on the day: paper, pens, pencils, felt tips, pastels etc. This workshop is suitable for anyone facing transition or those that will be supporting others in doing the same.
This workshop is facilitated by Sarah Webber and Nicola Greenwood who are both APCCA tutors and BACP registered creative arts counsellors in Essex, England.
Discover Your Hidden Potential - Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain
IF YOU THINK YOU CAN’T DRAW, THEN THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU!
The right side of your brain is creative, visual and spontaneous. But years of negative messages and conditioning can create psychological wounds and a left-brain dominance which silences our creativity and potential.
Working with simple art exercises to switch you from left to right brain mode I will help you to discover by the end of the workshop that you can draw! But perhaps more importantly you will also begin to discover skills, knowledge and creativity that have been hidden from your awareness, sometimes for many years
This workshop is inspired by the work of Betty Edwards, which I have adapted and used for many years within my therapeutic practice, often with stunning and sometimes life changing results! This workshop is a powerful, fun and exciting experiential designed to help you to discover and tap into your hidden potential!
It is truly amazing to discover hidden potential and see what is possible - the first drawings were made at the start of the workshop - and the second ones, by the same person just two hours later!
Some feedback from previous workshops;
'Amazing! So chuffed with the outcome - I can draw!' MS
'Wow! I am blown away!' AC
'After the workshop I realised how much I was blocking myself, I'm so excited to discover what else I can do!' CT

In this workshop we will explore creative ways to work collaboratively with children and young people from a person-centred and pluralistic perspective. It will give participants the opportunity to engage in a creative experiential exercise, explore issues and difficulties, and give participants a range of ideas and tools to use when working with children and young people.
Please bring a range of art materials, paper, pens, pencils, pastels if possible, or alternatively you can use a digital art app.
Stories Matter: Working with the Stories We Hold Significant
Stories matter. Stories engage our hearts and minds and help us to make sense of the world and our experiences. They connect us, stir us, and offer incredible therapeutic value and potential for healing and growth.
In this experiential workshop, participants will delve into a story they hold significant. Perhaps there is a specific story from childhood that has always mattered? A favourite book as a teenager? Maybe a film? The stories we hold significant stay with us for many reasons.
Through gently guided and supported enquiry, reflection, and sharing in small groups, participants will discover and explore therapeutic ways of working with the stories they hold significant first-hand, as well as learning a simple, but deeply powerful, reflective exercise they can take away to use in their work with others.
Please bring a selection of materials on the day for reflective writing and mind-mapping such as paper, felt tips, pens, and pencils. Alternatively, you can use a digital app for the session.
The workshop is delivered by Sarah Webber an APCCA Practitioner and Tutor.

Working with Six-Part Story Method

Play with Possibility
- an Art and Movement Workshop
Once upon a time play came natural to us, it is how we explored and discovered the world. But years of familial, cultural and societal and conditioning can become barriers to our unique self-expression and the joy we found in play. How can we find our way back to the core of our authentic being, when the messages from the outside world interfere with who we truly are?
In this experiential creative arts workshop, we will work with the theme of experimentation. We will create and play with images and words, and play with different movement possibilities .
The format of the session is as follows: opening circle, free form movement (no learning of steps involved), image work and embodied writing, sharing and closing circle
This workshop will be held via Zoom. Please wear comfortable clothing, make sure you are in a space where you can move safely, have a water bottle nearby and bring pen and paper and some basic art materials.
The workshop is facilitated by Ariane Agostini, who is an APCCA practitioner, coach, senior lecturer and group facilitator and founder os Soul Atelier.
Fee £28.00
